一, the early preparation of installation.

i. . Prepare tools

The construction and installation of license plate recognition system hardware requires more tools, such as tape measure, wrench, impact drill, pull screw and other commonly used screws, etc., which are all necessary in the tool box of the installation master.

ii.   Check construction drawings

Usually, a copy of the construction drawing of the license plate recognition system hardware will be sent to the installation master. Before installation, the construction drawing shall be checked to see if it conforms to the latest situation on the site.Such as access width, road smoothness, size and dimensions of the island (if needed), number of equipment required, single open or folio, etc.If the latest site conditions are consistent with the construction drawings, the installation can be carried out; otherwise, necessary adjustments must be made flexibly.However, the specific details of the opening groove need not be identical to the drawing, and the location of wiring should be determined according to the actual situation on the site.


二, the installation

i.  line slot

The purpose of the opening slot is to facilitate the placement and connection of auxiliary materials such as power cord, signal cord and network cord.The grooves must take into account the long distance from the control room as well as the ground condition of the site. It is not realistic to thread on the high-end marble because it is difficult to repair the marble surface after the grooving.

Wire slot is divided into two categories, one is between hardware and control room, the other is between hardware and hardware.

The opening groove should follow the principle of the shortest line, no damage to the original strong power, no damage to the waterproof and so on.The width and depth of the groove depends on the diameter of the PVC pipe used, and a certain gap must be left to fill the cement.The width and depth of the groove should be 1~1.5cm larger than the diameter of THE PVC pipe, and the gap between the pipes should also be considered if the two pipes are placed.If strong current and weak current are placed in the same slot, excessive interference should be considered.

Ii. Hardware fixation

Generally, at the bottom of each hardware of the license plate recognition system, more than 3mm thick reinforcing plates are welded and there are 2-4 ∮16 fixed holes.Place the equipment in the correct position, mark it at the ground position corresponding to the fixed hole, then move the equipment, drill holes of corresponding size at the marked ground position with a percussion drill, and then put the equipment back in place and lock it with a pull-out screw.Different manufacturers have different sizes of holes for the fixed plate and ∮ bolt screws are different. However, the general standard is ∮16 hole and M12 bolt.

三, wiring

i. the power cord

Each device of the license plate recognition system hardware must be connected to the power supply, generally 220V (overseas is mostly 110V).Different wiring modes will generate different costs: A. If each device is independently connected to the power supply in the control room, the wires to be consumed will increase exponentially;B. If a row is inserted in the middle of the device and each device is connected to the row, it will be more economical.The two methods are shown as follows:

Ii. The signal lines

The signal line is used to connect the license plate recognition machine to the road gate.The control panel of these two devices has corresponding signal interface, generally using 4PIN *0.75 signal line.After the license plate recognition camera captures and detects the vehicle license plate, it will send permission or refusal instructions to the gate through the signal line.

There is also a signal wire connection between the ground induction coil control box and the main board of the road gate (the manufacturer will connect it directly generally), which is used to send the road gate down signal after the vehicle passes through.


Iii. The cable

The network cable is mainly used for the connection between license plate recognition camera and control room switch, and the connection between auxiliary camera and switch to increase the Angle of view.

After the license plate recognition camera is connected to the switch through the network cable, the corresponding ID and password can be entered into the license plate recognition system software of this device at the computer side, and relevant parameters can be set.

The auxiliary camera must also be connected with a network cable and a switch, so that the device can be added to the same license plate recognition system software on the computer side, forming a nested system with the original camera.As shown below:

四, conclusion
